According to JCA founder and CEO Stephen Smith, this is their second show since the JCA opened in 2021. “It's an incredible experience. We've expanded the show to include three fantastic graduates from last year who are making waves in the fashion industry, as well as our current DBE and MA colleagues. Partnering with THIS IS ICON was a great opportunity for us to support a cause we are truly passionate about. At JCA, we are committed to producing fashion entrepreneurs who will thrive in the industry,” said Stephen Smith.

The event, held on September 15 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, began at 9:00 pm and ended with a fashionable charity gala. Former graduate Annabelle Barton's Size A brand has unveiled its latest collection, My Roaring Twenties, which features just one size per garment, conveying the concept of a personalized fit.

Melissa Keith presented Genesis III:V, a collection inspired by the story of Eve in the Garden of Eden.

To conclude the alumni talk, Nun Khoury, in collaboration with JENSJWLS, presented her Angel's Wear Nada Heavensent collection.

The second part of the talk featured Fashion Academy: Design, Branding and Entrepreneurship (DBE) students Cherlyn Ornica, Kinar Ornica, Maisie Binns, Niamh Nowlan, Valeria Peeva and Vesela Valeva.

In the final segment, current MA designer-entrepreneurs Aima Masoud, Isela Berra-Rocío Sánchez, Mariam Saeed, Olivia Black, Polly McKevitt and Saleha Hussain showed off one look from the upcoming collection, giving viewers a taste of what they will show during their full presentation in October at the JCA Mayfair campus during the world-famous Frieze contemporary art fair.
