JCA | London Fashion Academy

JCA London Fashion Academy was founded by Prof. Jimmy Choo OBE.

 

The academy operates across studios in Mayfair and Boston Manor, London, where students work in small cohorts developing design, brand and entrepreneurial thinking together.

 

Garments are developed, ideas are debated and collections begin to take shape inside an active studio environment.

What happens during a studio visit

A studio visit provides a clear view of how designers learn and work at JCA.


During the session, you will:


  • See the studio environment where students develop their work
  • Learn how the programmes are structured
  • Understand how portfolios are developed and assessed
  • Ask questions about studying fashion in London


Visits take place in small groups and are led by members of the JCA team.

Portfolio reviews provide direct feedback on your work and guidance on the most suitable programme.

From concept to high street

Haute Couture

From concept development to execution, participants will gain firsthand insight into what it takes to successfully launch a brand, build customer relationships, and engage in commerce. Graduates of the JCA are also eligible to participate in the Retail Gallery Store and e-commerce site as part of the JCA’s mission to support designers during and after their studies.
